Quantum Dynamics, LLC, emerged from the Timberland Helicopters - Unmanned Systems and Special Projects Division, established in 2016.

This division was the brainchild of Sean Holt and Mark Gibson, President of Timberland Helicopters, Inc., who shared a vision to revolutionize key industries through unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

With their combined expertise, they founded Quantum Dynamics to lead the advancement of UAS technology and train the next generation of operators.

Sean M. Holt: Visionary and Innovator

Sean is a 9-11 first responder, Navy veteran, and former marine surveyor , and Search & Rescue volunteer who has devoted his career to empowering America’s hardest workers—public safety professionals, utility linemen, farmers, fellow veterans, and youth. His passion and obsession for helping these vital sectors gain an edge in difficult times have driven him to pioneer drone training, inspections, and research & development. After recognizing the transformative potential of drone technology, Sean returned from Singapore to Ashland, OR, to co-found Quantum Dynamics with lifelong friend Mark, aiming to lead an evolving industry into the future.

Mark Gibson: The Steady Hand that Guides

Mark  brings decades of aviation industry experience and steady leadership to Quantum Dynamics. As the President of Timberland Helicopters, Inc. and a two-time Chairman of Helicopters Association International (HAI), Mark has been instrumental in integrating unmanned systems into critical sectors. His wisdom and foresight ensure that Quantum Dynamics remains at the forefront of technological innovation while upholding its core values of safety, service, and excellence.
