With our aviation roots spanning back to 1984, Timberland Helicopters, Inc. (THI) has been a trusted name in the aviation & transportation industry for nearly 40 years. Certificated by the FAA for Part 133, Part 135, Part 137, and Part 107 operations. Our experience began in logging, snowcats, and emergency medical services. Since then, Timberland Helicopters has expanded to include a comprehensive list of services including private charters, aerial photography, load transport/construction, aerial seeding, firefighting, power line patrol, wildlife surveying, law enforcement, and drone-related training & services. We pride ourselves on service excellence.
In 2016, we created and developed the Unmanned Systems & Special Projects Division. Understanding drone technology’s extreme disruptive nature, THI took the lead by providing our electrical utilities & transmission/distribution partners with inspections and line-pulling services. The division has since provided services for wind farm inspections, precision agriculture for vineyards and farms, volumetric surveys, building & thermal reporting, emergency management, virtual tours, short films, content development, and Part 107 training.
In order to provide dedicated and stand-alone capabilities to our clients, Quantum Dyamics, LLC (a Timberland Helicopters, Inc. affiliated company) was established in 2020. Quantum Dynamics (QD) maintains a Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP) to facilitate “Best in Class” training, services, software/hardware, and research & development for the integration of multimodal unmanned systems (sea, air, land, space) & edge technologies into the macro ecosystem.
